The Whitesands Class of 2026 graduated on a bright morning in May, in a ceremony that blended sacred liturgy with the joy of a school sending its young people into the world.
Principal addressed the graduands directly, urging them to carry the school's motto — Duc in Altum — into every room they would step into thereafter. "You are not only leaving with results," he said. "You are leaving with a way of being."
More than a third of the class will go on to read STEM degrees, with placements confirmed at universities in Nigeria, the United Kingdom, Canada and the United States. Ten students received merit scholarships of varying tiers.
The ceremony closed with the traditional procession through the school's main avenue, lined by staff and underclassmen — a quiet, unforgettable image of a community that had walked with these boys for years.
