Whitesands School strives for an all round education of the students. For this purpose, a programme of formation in virtues and values is indispensable. This is imparted by words, example and by creating an environment and ure that enhance the development of good habits. In addition to the spititual and moral talks given within the chaplaincy department and the personal training of each student in virtues through the advisory system, there is a programme of  talks on some selected virtues given to students in their classes. Each month talks a given on aspects of the virtue for the month and students are encouraged to strive to practise what they learn. The list of virtues corresponding to all the months during which the school is open is as follows:
